What is the message with MID 0x98 in my MTB file?

You may notice that some MTB files created in MT Manager have an additional message of the form (FA FF 98 …) after the configuration (FA FF 0D …) and eMTS (FA FF 91 …) messages but before the data messages (FA FF 36 …).

This message is the internal filter state, saved by the Xsens Device API to store the internal state of the filter at the beginning of the recording so that when you playback the file in MT Manager the results will be exactly the same as when you made the recording. If this information was not included, MT Manager would have to begin initializing the filter from the beginning of the file.
