What are the MTi sensors’ measurement bandwidths?

The bandwidth for gyroscopes and accelerometers on the MTi 10-series and MTi 100-series sensors can be found in Section 4.6 of the MTi User Manual (accessible here: https://issuu.com/xsensmvn/docs/mti_user_manual). For both the MTi 10-series and MTi 100-series sensors, the specified bandwidth (-3dB point) is 415 Hz for the gyroscopes and 375 Hz for the accelerometers.

The bandwidth for gyroscopes and accelerometers on the MTi 1-series sensors can be found in Section 4.2 of the Datasheet MTi 1-series (accessible here: https://www.xsens.com/download/pdf/documentation/mti-1/mti-1-series_datasheet.pdf). The specified the bandwidth (-3dB point) is 180 Hz for the gyroscopes and 180 Hz for the accelerometers.

In general, MTi sensors are designed for industrial applications where the bandwidth of motion involved is <200 Hz.

Further information about our signal processing pipeline can be found in the MTi White Paper (accessible here: https://www.xsens.com/download/pdf/documentation/mti/mti_white_paper.pdf).
