The noise density of the gyroscopes in the MTi 10-series and MTi 100-series is defined as deg/s/sqrt(Hz).
When the output data rate of the MTi is decreased, the RMS noise will drop with a square foot function.
With an output data rate of 400 Hz, the RMS noise of the MTi 10-series is 0.6 deg/s, at 100 Hz it is 0.3 deg/s and at 10 Hz it is 0.1 deg/s. Note that the accuracy in all three outputs is the same since the output formatter of the MTi calculates the average in a mathematical correct way.
When using a lower output data rate, it is possible to measure low-frequency signals with extremely low amplitudes.
