The MTi 1-series is specifically targeted at users requiring the lowest integration cost. As the pricing also allows for integration in higher numbers, it is recommended to mount the MTi 1-series module via a reflow process on a PCB. The use of a PLCC28 compatible PCB allows using the MTi in a range of adapters. This is generally not recommended, as stress on the MTi 1-series when pressing the MTi in the socket can result in long-term calibration errors.
